How it works
Follow these steps to get it set up and working.
- 1In Account settings, open the security section and turn on two-factor authentication.
- 2Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy) and enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
- 3Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — they're how you get back in if you lose the device.
- 4For an organization, an owner can configure SSO (OIDC) in project settings so staff sign in through your identity provider.
- 5Map your provider's users to Flowdexa roles so access matches responsibility from day one.
What this connects to
The records and settings involved behind the scenes.
- Two-factor
- 2FA is per-user and set in Account settings — each person enables it on their own login.
- SSO
- Single sign-on is configured per project (OIDC) by an owner, for teams that centralize identity.
- Roles
- However someone signs in, what they can see and do is still governed by their project role.
Outcome
What you get
Logins are protected by a second factor, and larger teams can sign in through their own identity provider.
