Notifications walkthrough
A short product video or annotated screenshot showing this from the user's point of view.
How it works
Follow these steps to get it set up and working.
- 1Open the Notifications inbox to see what needs attention — job assignments, leave decisions, and other changes.
- 2Open any item to jump straight to the job, request, or record it refers to.
- 3Mute the notification types a given person doesn't need, per recipient.
- 4Mark items read to keep the inbox focused on what's still open.
What this connects to
The records and settings involved behind the scenes.
- Jobs
- Assigning or dispatching a job notifies the assigned members so nothing gets missed.
- Leave
- Submitting and deciding leave requests notifies the requester and the approving manager.
- Preferences
- A missing preference row means subscribed by default; a mute row stops that type for that person.
Outcome
What you get
Everyone sees what's relevant to their role, and no one is buried in alerts they don't need.
